EVERLASTING FLOWERS
All floral arrangements consist of hand painted wood flowers.
Small-medium bouquets have 9-12 flowers. Large bouquets (depending on the purpose or vase desired) range from 15-30 flowers.
Flowers are softened with a mixture of water and dish soap.
GREENERY
A combination of artificial and preserved greenery are inserted in the bouquets. My favorites are eucalyptus, baby's breath, and bunny tails.
SLOWLY DYING
I use sola wood flowers, which come in an ivory color. The process of color dying takes 24 hours. I blend acrylic paint (usually 2 different colors) together, mix in water and softener. The final step is to dip the flower in the dye mixture. I dry them overnight, allowing the color to fully absorb.
STEMMING
Floral wire is used for adding stems to the flowers. With a hot glue gun, I insert the floral stems into the bottom of the flowers.
ESSENTIAL OILS
You can add any essential oil sprays to the top of the bouquet to give these wood flowers a nice scent! My favorite essential oil is lavender!
